The concept of the “Big Drum Bonanza” is to allow students access to intense private lessons and masterclasses by world-class drummers and teachers in a totally intimate environment. The camp is limited to approximately 40 students so that all the teachers can personally interact with each student.  The class is small enough for each student to get all their questions answered and to get mistakes corrected and their playing evaluated by some of the world’s finest drummers.

Every teacher represents a different style of music and drumming and every teacher covers different topics. Don’t hesitate to try and get the most out of this experience and really pick your idol’s brains! Teachers will have their own agendas and lessons prepared but there is always plenty of opportunity for one-on-one explanations and demonstration.

If you are interested in booking private lessons (one-on-one!) with any of the teachers, please email us at info@bigdrumbonanza.com

Private lesson fees:

60-Minute Lesson - $150.00

90-minute Lesson - $200.00

All lessons must be paid for in advance and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can register and pay for lessons in advance by signing up via your BDB 2017 Student Information Sheet which will be emailed to you upon registration. Space for private lessons is extremely limited, so we do reccommend you sign up in advance.

If you would like to book a private lesson after arriving at the camp, you may do so with our private lesson supervisor. All lesson payments are payable by cash or credit card at the time of booking and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. If you miss any portion of your lesson, rebookings are available at the sole discretion and/or availability of the instructor.
