IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Everyone is welcome and typically BDB students are a mix of male & female players aged 10-65. However, we don't recommend the camp for very beginning students. 


Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults to not have to be present in the classroom for the duration of the camp, but they are welcome to observe as much or as little of the camp events as they wish.

WHAT ABOUT GEAR?

Students play along with instructors on individual DW "Go Anywhere" practice kits which are provided for you along with a DW 3000 series throne. You are welcome to bring your own double pedal, or you can rent a DW 3000 double pedal from us for $20.00 per day. Students bring their own sticks. 


WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?

  • Your drumsticks
  • A double pedal unless you are renting one from us
  • Pens & paper
  • Camera for photo opps!
  • Closed toe shoes for the DW Factory Tour (Important! No exceptions!)
  • Enthusiasm 

IS THERE A COST TO BRING A GUEST?

We do not charge for any additional guest who is not participating in classwork. Guests of campers are welcome to observe classroom events as long as they do not disrupt any lesson activity. Guests are welcome to attend the tour of the DW factory, but space will be prioritized for students. Any additional room occupancy charges would be at the discretion of the Palm Garden Hotel.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE PALM GARDEN HOTEL?

Students are not required to stay at our host hotel you may certainly book rooms at a hotel of your preference, use Air B&B etc., Students book their own accommodations individually. Please let the Palm Garden know you are part of the Thomas Lang Drum Camp/Big Drum Bonanza group so you will receive our discounted room rate of $119.00 + tax. 


The hotel provides a complementary breakfast and wifi. Rooms are equipped with mini refrigerators and there is an exercise room and business office on premises as well as a swimming pool and hot tub for guest enjoyment.


There is a Ralph's grocery store, Starbucks and a wide array of convenient dining choices within 5 minutes walk. The Palm Garden Hotel is also home to Brendon's Irish Pub which serves lunch and dinner daily. 

CAN WE FILM AT THE BIG DRUM BONANZA

Filming is allowed with instructor permission. We do, however, request that this footage is for your own personal use. Please do not post online. 

REGISTRATION, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Your decision to register for a Muso Entertainment Drum Camp constitutes your acknowledgment of and consent to all of the Registration, Payment and Cancellation terms and conditions listed below:

Registration and Payments:

  • All rates are per person
  • A 8.25% California State Tax will may be applied to your balance when applicable
  • A non-refundable $250.00 deposit is required to reserve your space at the BDB/TLDBC. 
  • Tuition balance payments are due 30 days prior to the start day of your camp. 
  • If payments are not received by the appropriate deadline, MUSO Entertainment reserve the right to release your place in the camp to another student. Deposits are nonrefundable, no exceptions.
  • No refunds for any portion of any fees will be issued after the start of the camp. 
  • No partial refunds will be refunded for camp activities missed.
  • Cancellations received fewer than 14 days prior to the start of any MUSO Entertainment event will be issued a rain check for a future SONO event of equal or lesser value. 
  • No other refunds or credits will be issued.


GEAR

  • All gear rental fees are payable to MUSO Entertainment prior to the start of each camp.
  • Gear rental requests must be received at least 1 week prior to the start of the camp or we may not be able to honor your request.
  • BDB/TLDBC attendees are responsible for any rental gear provided and MUSO Entertainment reserves the right to charge students for any damaged or missing equipment.


TERMS & CONDITIONS

Once a BDB/TLDBC reservation is placed, the following terms apply:


  • Due to the nature of our events and strict cancellation policies, MUSO Entertainment strongly suggests purchasing travel insurance.
  • Special Guests or curriculum schedule is subject to change: MUSO Entertainment reserves the right to offer qualified substitute faculty and entertainment at our discretion in the event of the inability of a faculty member to attend, or other special circumstances, such as an emergency, illness, etc. If any such changes are made, MUSO Entertainment will make reasonable efforts to notify registrants by updating our website with the most up-to-date information. Attendees are still responsible for the full amount of their registration fee.
  • All BDB/TLDBC students and their guests must comply with our code of conduct. We do not permit disruptive, dangerous, illegal, intolerant or discriminatory behavior. We ask that all our students show mutual respect for each other as well as courtesy and respect for the artist instructors, gear and property. Muso Entertainment reserves the right to remove any student or student guest from the classroom if their behavior proves distracting. 

Event Cancellation: 

MUSO Entertainment reserves the right to cancel the event at any time at our discretion. In the unlikely event a camp is canceled, all fees collected by MUSO Entertainment will be reimbursed by check or refunded to credit card. MUSO Entertainment is not responsible for reimbursing any travel fees, fees for accommodations not provided by MUSO Entertainment, or other expenses. We recommend in any case that you purchase travel insurance.

  • All special guests and camp curriculum are subject to change. All camp deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions. Any registration cancellations must be made 30-days in advance of the camp start date to receive tuition balance refunds. All other cancellations will receive rain checks for future SONO camp registration of their choice. No camp refunds, rain checks will be issued after the camp start date. Any unused portion of camp tuition is non-refundable.
